Directors Meeting, North Platte, NE

All directors present, except President LuAnn Werdel.

Minutes were approved as read. Financial report was given and approved.

Bids for the 2011-2012 were given by Dave Rethorst and Boyd Mignery from Hastings, and Mike Burge from Valentine.

Sponsorship: Farmers National and American West Windmills will be sent a proposal for 2010.

State Finals Awards: The students expressed that they would like leather coats for the team coat, and liked the saddle certificates for the trophy saddles.

Scholarship Auction: Live auction brought in $13,781; Silent Auction brought in $1,675; the Gold Buckle Table brought in $1,320. Total for the scholarship auction for the 2011 class is $16,951.

Nancy Edelman will set up a judges clinic with Paul Cleveland.

The Rodeo News sent a proposal to have them as our newsletter. It was decided to stay with the Fence Post as our official newsletter.

Mid Winter Meeting will be January 26-30 in Louisiana. Motion was made to pay for the student officers to attend, along with Tricia.

Tricia will check into having a rough stock clinic in March or April.

The Spur Logo is used for state finals awards only.
