Director Meeting

June 28, 2009

Meeting called to order with the following directors present: LuAnn Werdel, Mark Peterson, Kelli Blevins, Makala Butterfield, Tim Cover, Adam Cross, Cindy Coffman, Loren Gorsuch, Joe Lemmon, Mark Lovitt, Tim Sierks, Andy Wearin, Tricia Schaffer, Secretaries Becky Dailey and Nancy Edelman.

New directors present were Gordon Simonson, Rod Nelson & Doug Hinman. Also present was calendar coordinator, Lori Schafer.

Minutes were approved, and financial report given. That report was also approved.

Cutting was made a mandatory event.

Tim Cover was nominated and voted in as Vice President. LuAnn Werdel was nominated and voted in as President.

Lori Schafer reported tht there is $37,890 from calendar sales for the National team. Discussion was held on how many calendars each member should sell. Motion was made to leave it at 7. Tim Cover and Nancy Edelman were added on the calendar bank account, replacing Adam Cross.

Motion to give 2009 National team $1000.

Andy Wearing will be reimbursed for the electric eye case for the cutting eye.

There will be no saddle raffle in 2009-2010.

Discussion held on the point system for the year end all around and rookie. Continuity was discussed.

State Finals bids will be taken in November for 2011 & 2012.

Discussion held on goat tying draw.

Event directors were assigned, and the fall banner schedule decided.
