In regards to the results and standings that you see every week, I would like to explain what happens on my end. After I receive the results and put them into my ARTs program (the program that almost every rodeo now uses), I go to a place that automatically connects with the website we use and updates the results and standings. This is how it should work in a perfect world.
This is what has been happening the past year & half: When the program tries to connect with our webpage, sometimes it gets in and starts uploading the information. At that point, it erases all the information currently on the site and starts replacing it. I believe we are having a problem with the webserver end of this deal. The ARTs program, then 'times out', and can't finish, so all you see is a blank page or page isn't available. I don't know what the answer is, but the ARTs author and I are working on it. We may have to switch webservers.
If, when you click on All Around, and you see some big numbers, with a decimal point in them, this means that I forgot to change the All Around numbers from figuring each rodeo's all around, to the 10 point system that we use for year end all around. If I don't catch this mistake, someone let me know and I will get it corrected. Also, the program includes some one event contestants (usually cutters). I will periodically publish a list without these added.
I try and get the results and standings up to date as quickly after a weekend as I can, but I do have a ranch to run, and that comes first. Please be patient. I do try and get the media results out to them on Monday afternoon, because of deadlines.
