Bassett Special Meeting
A special meeting was called August 9th, in Bassett. All directors, Student President and guest, Mark Peterson, were present.
Minutes of the June 27, 29 and July 2nd were read and approved.
Tricia reported that the rest of the travel money was distributed to the National Qualifiers.
Winter Banquet was discussed.
Adam Cross proposed a new rule: Due to safety issues, the barrel racing must be held after all events except bull riding; and then, as long as there isn't a barrel hole within the turn back fence.
Tricia Schaffer proposed a new rule: In fairness to the girl's competition, a committee can't run two girls events at the same time in opposite arenas.
JD Hoover resigned, and Mark Peterson will fill JD's remaining term that expires June of 2009. Mark was the alternate in the voting of directors at the General Membership meeting in June 2008.
