Student Directors & Officers
Students who are interested in running for a
student officer position or an event director need to contact Student
President, Sadie Cross or Becky Dailey, State Secretary. Elections will be
held on the last weekend of qualifying rodeos.
Queen Raffle
We are not giving away the queen, however,
the queen committee is holding a raffle to assist the new 2008 Nebraska High
School Rodeo Queen. The winning ticket holder will receive an 'All Expense
Paid Trip' to the state finals. That includes: $500 cash, $250 fuel card, 1
full service camping site, 1 stall and 2 tickets to each state finals
performance. Ticket donations are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Tickets can be
purchased from Samantha Chytka, Georgeann Wearin, Lori Schafer or Tricia
Schaffer.

Attention Queen Contestants
Calling all Cowgirls!!
If you are a freshman, sophomore or junior, you are eligible to participate in
the Nebraska High School Rodeo Queen contest. The lucky winner will receive the
use of a horse trailer for one year, a Tod Slone saddle, buckle, a trip to the
National High School Rodeo Finals and much more!! You have until May 24th to let
us know your decision. At that time we will need your picture to include in the
state finals program book.

Contestants
You won't be able to compete unless you have your calendar money, grade transcripts, or any fines turned into the appropriate people. You can, also, ONLY compete in the events you registered for at the beginning of the year. You will be drawn out of any rodeos, prior to positions being drawn, if these things aren't taken care of. If you need to sign up for additional events, please contact Becky @ 308-848-2664 (evenings.) If you have fines from previous rodeos, contact Nancy @ 308-458-2431. If you need to turn in calendar money, contact Lori @ 307-532-3449 (evenings.)
ATTENTION PARENTS OF CONTESTANTS
If your son/daughter medical releases or vet releases out of an event/rodeo, you must call that rodeo secretary 24 hours before the rodeo starts to be eligible for an entry fee refund. You must call all rodeos you will be releasing out of. Then you have FIVE (5) days to get the release to Nancy Edelman. If you can't get a doctors appointment before that, please call her and let her know. Any releases not received within that 5 day period will be considered a turnout and you will be fined. This is in the Nebraska Rules that were included in your membership packet. Please take time to read all information you are given.
