General Membership Meeting
June 20, 2007
The Nebraska High School Rodeo Association held their general membership meeting June 20, 2007 at Hastings. President Loren Gorsuch called the meeting to order. Board members present were Dale D. Arensdorf, Kelli Blevins, Tim Cover, Adam Cross, Rita Dobbins, JD Hoover, Darrell Kraupie, Mark Lovitt, Robin Meier, Lori Schafer, Tim Sierks, and Tricia Schaffer. Secretary’s Becky Dailey and Nancy Edelman.
Minutes of the November 12, 2006 minutes were read. Darrell Kraupie moved to approve minutes as read, seconded by Rita Dobbins. Motion carried

Dale Arensdorf reported that there was $33,000 brought in in sponsorship for the 2007 state finals.
Sandy reported on animal welfare during the state finals
Directors nominations from the floor is Will Callahan, JR Clark, and Wade Stover. Students moved nominations cease. Janet Mueller moved to vote to vote for all six directors at one time, seconded by Shelley Arensdorf. Motion carried.
2007 newly elected directors; 3 year term Kelli Blevins, Tim Sierks, Adam Cross and Cindy Coffman. Tie for 2-year term Andy Wearin and JR Clark.
Discussion was held on the following items (1) EMT & ambulances, (2) safety at the rodeo’s (3) judges, (4) central entry system and (5) 10 rodeo rule.
The adult membership voted 20 to 16 to have cuttings mandatory.
Kelly Blevins moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by JD Hoover. Meeting adjourned.
