The Lincoln County High School Rodeo Club is planning on closing out the fall rodeo season with some exciting opportunities for the Nebraska High School Rodeo members.
Saturday morning at 8:30, in the covered pavilion, there will be a presentation by Doug Long on preventing sports injuries and the mental side of rodeo. Doug works in the sports medicine department at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. We encourage contestants and parents to attend this free clinic!!
Saturday evening there will be a benefit team roping for the Steve Bierma and Gary Land families at the Wild West Arena. Both of these men are recovering from heart attacks. Bow & Arrow Productions are providing the cattle with proceeds going to the families. Entries open at 6 pm with the roping to begin at 7 pm.
If roping isn’t your thing, there will a dance in the covered pavilion from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Admission to the dance is $3 a person or $5 per couple.
